When the teacher places her chair in the middle of the students, they shift their desks to face the center. The students can now see her and one another. She welcomes them with a smile; the red meters morph into a slight blue tint. Then, she notices red hues toward the back corner surrounding two students. Their red begins to expand; now another student displays red. Before it expands further, she asks the class to stand up, close their eyes, and enter a breathing exercise. Soon, the color throughout most of the room slides into a soft canopy of blue. “Okay,” she whispers, “Let's take a seat and go back in time to visit the Constitutional Convention in 1787.”
